About Clark County District 1
The heart of Vancouver and Clark County
District 1 is primarily made up of the city of Vancouver. I’ve lived and worked here my whole life — and I see firsthand the divide that sometimes exists between the city and the county at large. My goal is to bridge that gap.
Why this Race Matters
Clark County is at a crossroads. How we handle growth, housing, mental health, and public safety in the next few years will define the county for a generation. District 1 deserves a representative who knows the community deeply and will do the hard work.
What the County Council Does
The Clark County Council sets policy, approves the county budget, and oversees county services including public health, planning, and the Sheriff's Office. It is one of the most impactful local offices for residents' daily lives.
