Safer communities start with supported officers.
On public safety, the entire system has to work — law enforcement, the courts, and public defense alike. Without adequate resources across the board, the gaps between them become the places where people fall through. A well-functioning public safety system is inseparable from the broader work of addressing mental health and homelessness— investment in all three branches is essential to real community safety.
